1. New features in this release
Changes since AdeptTracker 3.01.
Supported the multi-project management directly
Supported linking external project files.
In this release, multiple projects can be added to a single file. In the Gantt Chart, an individual project is similar to a summary task. You can upgrade a summary task to a project, as well as downgrade a project to a normal summary task. The project can come from another file; AdeptTracker can link an external file and update the external file manually after the project is modified.
2. Simple guide to the new features
2.1 Add projects to a single file
If the project is not existed, you can add a new project by selecting the Multi-project\Add project menu. You also can add the project tasks as normal tasks, and then upgrade it to a project. To do this, select the summary task which represents a project, and click the Multi-project\Upgrade task to project menu.
If the project is existed in another file, you can link the file to the current project. To do this, select the Link file from the Multi-project menu, select a file, set the options and click OK.

In the Link file options dialog box, if the Load Resource Only is checked, the tasks in the external file will not be loaded to the current file. If the Use relative filename is checked, AdeptTracker will record the filename as a relative filename, otherwise it stores the full path name.
2.2 Show or hide a project in Gantt Chart
To hide a project in the Gantt Chart, select the Multi-project Manager from the Multi-project menu. In the Project List dialog box, select the project in the list. Click the Settings button, in the Project settings dialog box, uncheck the Visible. To show a project in Gantt Chart, just check the Visible in the Project Settings dialog box.

If the Enable resource leveling is cleared, the resource leveling functionality will ignore the tasks of the selected project. However, you still can modify it manually.
Note: Even if the Enable resource leveling is cleared, the task of the selected project still can be modified.
2.4 Update an external file
AdeptTracker will not save the modification to the external file automatically. If you have linked an external file and modified the linked project, the user will have to save the modifications manually. To update the external file, select the Linked files Manager from the Multi-project menu. In the Linked files window, select an external file and click the Save to.

You also can select the Save to All linked files from the Multi-project menu to update the external file.

To update from a changed external file, select the Linked files Manager from the Multi-project menu. In the Linked files window, select an external file and click the Load from.
You also can select the Load from All linked files from the Multi-project menu to update from the external file.
2.6 Delete a project
